Thanks. It was a very simple build. I basically followed Shane's 2x4 lap steel plans, making a couple modifications. I used classical guitar tuners on this one. The pickup is a B.C. Rich humbucker that I took from a "parts" guitar someone gave me that I hot wired straight to the jack & grounded to the 1/2" threaded rod bridge. I strung it up with Ernie Ball "Not Even Slinky" strings. To keep the strings from pulling through the tail, I use 3/16" brake line. The handle helps hold the lap steel away from your body when using the strap. It both plays & sounds amazing.
