Cohiba box. I salvaged a fretboard from a broken Epiphone as well as the tuners. I replace a guys mahgony door on his house and ended up with a nice stash of "hog" for the neck. The pickup is an old Dean Markley acoustic sound hole pickup that I got with the broken Epiphone. Plays and sounds great.

  • No I didn't enter. Should of I suppose. The fret board was standard width and I ripped it down to fit the mahogany. I really like the skinny neck. I've made a few changes to get the intonation more acurate and the guitar rocks. I like to use an Ibanez tube screamer with it more for the gain. The pickup is a little weak until I click the TS on. Been playing thru my Blues Jr.....It's volume controls go up to 12...yea. Nice and gritty. Think I'll build a cigar box amp that goes to 15. That'll freak 'em all out!
  • Way to recycle, did you enter it in the dumpster divers challenge? Is the fretboard fom a tenor guitar or did you rip cut it skinny like that? Beautiful ax man, bet it sounds wonderful.
  • Hrmm... disregard my last question about the pickup, lol.
