Thanks Guys! There is a space to allow a little of the metalllic tone to be picked up from the vibration of the strings thru the bridge. I just added a couple of sound holes to it to improve the tone some. will post another picture tonight.
Very nice treatment of the resonator, and a good use for an old paint can lid. Does the lid touch the neck as it runs through the body, or is there a space?
