I convert to centimeters and go from there. Inches is just silly. There are lots of calculators that give you the data, but I think there are problems with printables because they can be inaccurate because of pdf issues. I don't think wfret works on a Mac, so that leaves me out.
In the end, cotter pins are just as easy. But that may be because I am using a coping saw, and a real fret saw would probably make the slotting part go much easier. Next purchase!
Hi Diane, great looking build and probably much easier than cotter pins in the long run. Hey, I want to do a CBG with dulcimer fretting. Do yo know where I can find a template, I looked at the stewmac calculator but don't have a ruler with 100's spacing. I'm thinking about an 18 inch fingerboard like my other CBG's, but flexible?
