Thanks Uncle John. The sound is much better, plugged in and not, than my first CBG, which sounds very dull and anemic by comparison.
The string hold-downs after the bridge and before the nut aren't elegant and were necessary fixes, and I'd prefer to alter the headstock and probably use a fixed tail - next time.

Very sharp. I bet its sounds good both plugged and un. I like your solution to down pressure on the sadldle.
