  • Thanks for the comments. In reply to BrianQ, It is made with a Huon Pine soundboard and back, the side panels are blackwood, all local timbers. Total length is 920mm (36"). it kind tapers from 135mm (5 1/2") wide to 90mm (3 1/2") at the narrow end. It is about 75mm (3") deep. The scale I think is 23". Acoustically it is just ok, and I think that maybe the sound boards and the side panels may be a bit thick.  Sounds good plugged in. The pickup is an budget humbucker, the strings are earthed, and there is no hum. I once made 3 string CBG out of similar materials and it was quite good acoustically. I reckon the side panels and soundboard might be a bit too thick.

  • That’s very beautiful.

  • "Sweet" :-)

  • Very nice.  I like the idea of a lap guitar that can have some good sound quality unplugged.

  • Nice!!! Details please? I could play the strings off of that!
