  • Very cool Grandpa! I'm building a bass pretty soon and can't decide on 3 or 4 strings. Do you miss the 4th string?

  • Made to plug in is dandy.   Great looking fingerboard  and head.

  • Thanks, Uncle. It is heavy duty, especially the heavy part! It is not a lightweight git. I made it as a plug-in, so I didn't put any sound holes in it. It is fine played acoustically when I'm sittin' in the garage just thumpin' around alone, but it would need some juice to keep up  anyplace with any noise, or with other git's.  I considered retrofitting this thing with a sound hole in the top side, like I did in some of my LPG's, but probably will leave it as is. BTW, this very afternoon I unstrung it and shined up the diamond plate with some aluminum polish, and baby, it's shinin' like a diamond under a goat's tail!

As far as pluggin' it in, it'll go up to 10.

  • It looks good and it looks construction grade heavy duty.  I am pretty sure it sounds good plugged.  How is unplugged?
