That piece I made to hold strings down is out of Paduka wood, the metal piece that came on the neck originally was to rusty to reuse. The electronics in it were still good too, so I took them out and am going to use them on a future build.
Like that headstock.
The neck on this one came off a 1960 Teisco guitar, I call it a hybrid. sounds amazing too.
