Yup. I admire and respect good work and fine materials. I admire 'pretty'. But I often like my own to look old and like some guy who could not afford a guitar decided to build something that would play and with what he could scrounge.
Thank you, gents. I have also taken a real liking to the grungier side of cbg building. After making a number of "conventional cbg's" (isn't that an oxymoron?), I have gone back to enjoying the hunt for old relic stuff to build with. Thankfully Mrs. Grandpa enjoys going through junk stores and outdoor piles to treasure hunt, and she has a good eye for this stuff. Glad she's keeping me around!

Gramps, every one of these is nice. I think the right most is prettiest and the grungy LPGs suit me best.
