You're right, I would'nt have bet on it :) It sounds nice, the top is not glued, just stays blocked by the neck, the pickup and the strings tension. It's more free to vibe like this.
I am curious to hear it. Truthfully, I would have not guessed it would sound good. There are a lot of surprises with which tops sound good and which do not.
Thanks! The saddle is inspired form a classic guitar "Gérome". The slate sounds surprisingly well. I'll try another with a sound hole. It's hard to carve (like stone). I think I'll make a video soon.
