Thanks! I am quite pleased with the frets. Wasn't sure I had a saw that would work, but I have one that I figured I'd give a shot. Had a couple of false starts, saw wandered and made the slots too big. A bit of plastic wood and a re-saw, and I was in business. Got the hang of cutting the slots.
One fret was a bit higher than the rest, but coloring them all with a Sharpie then a few passes with a wet stone showed which one was highest. A few more passes took it down.
I sanded the bridge a bit short, so I had to use a bit of cardboard from a blister pack to shim it up.
Anyway, when I found the box, I knew I had to make a nice looking guitar with it.
It's pretty shallow, not very loud without power. Hopefully, the components for my amp should be here tomorrow.
Now if I could just figure out how to play it... :-/

Chestnut neck. Red oak bridge.
looks like a nice setup. Red oak neck I presume? I like the box color. Very "Blues"
It is particularly good if you want to accompany a singer on blues and old rock songs.
I checked out Knotlenny's video a while ago after I built my 1st slider. I'll have to give it another look.
Well, I pretty much recommend Knotlenny's CBG 101 under resources then how to play at page top. Good wishes.
