    Mark, check out knotlenny's CBG101 lesson - go to page top - resources - how to play and find that good and free lesson.  It works for DAD, GDG, etc.   It helped me a lot.

    Thanks for the comments. Still trying to figure out 3 string open d tuning. Ordered some slides will start my next build soon.

    Yup, frets are hard for most of us.  Me for sure.  Some of us buy fret boards.   Beautiful guitar and work.  Looks like it was made by a top builder.   I hope it plays as good as it looks.   How is your playing coming along?
