After measuring the neck at each end and the middle I used a wood rasp initially then scraping down the length then using 80 grit sand paper, smoothing and contouring the back and sides til It feels good to my hand up and down its length. My inspiration was my Teisco electrics neck though I didn't shave this guitars neck as thin because I doubt it would stay straight with the steel string tension.
