uke neck number 2. after some fantastic feedback from my good buddy better trees i made this neck a little less " chunky " also extended the headstock so the hand is more comfortable at the 1 st fret. thanks for the feedback fellers .

oh yeah i seen what you are talking about . the poplar is usually green too. not chocolate. haha. its harder too than poplar. i should be putting in the frets today maybe. i gotta finish my indios acustic strummer first.
Have a look at the fretboard of my latest build, looks similar. The creamy pale sapwood and chocolate brown heartwood are what's giving me that impression...

i believe so my friend i liked it . it was mixed in the poplar pile but there are all kinds ofd woods in there . ?
You've got a nice bit of wood for the fretboard there - walnut?
