yes same girl, she is my youngest 21. loves the blues. too the old stuff . we are both learning though. she loves all of pics steam punk stuff. Thats funny i just got done making a cigar box clock for my other daughter for christmas. Ya know slim, ive never worked with wood my whole life. Im just now at 50 + years old realizing what ive missed. listening to RL Burnsides, and shaving wood with some hot coffe and the colorado sun coming up in the cool morning ... what the hell gets better than that ?? have a great day at the party mate , lookin forward to the pics !!!

It's my grandson Lewis's birthday tomorrow,he's 11 and we're throwing him a party at my house as a surprise! Thanks for the cool comments on my amp, I'm nearly finished building a cigar box clock and lamp combined. Just need to wire it all up and generally tidy it up. I'll try and do it in the morning before the party, then I'll stick a pic or two up for your attention.
thank you uncle John. it was my daughters first one. we had a great time building it and I did some firsts on it too. i made the bridge out of the liner wood from the box. and we hand filed the nut for the string size to make the center string just a taste higher to pick easier when we play. fun stuff like that..im like you . i love the yellow ones . i love my partagus box too . it was my first so its my sentimental one. thanks again for commenting.

That looks great. I like yellow and have built several, but have none for myself! You make me want to build one.
