Thanks, I used a 1x2 (actual 3/4 x 1-1/2) piece of walnut for the neck with a 1/4 x 1 1/2 ebonized oak fretboard. Finish sanded to 2000 grit and then I applied about 3 coats of antique oil.

wow, this is nice- I hope to get that smooth and roundness on the neck for the acoustic rebuild I am doing. How thick is the neck?
