  • excellant idea

  • No paint lid on the front, though as soon as I had this one on the back light bulbs started flashing. Definately gonna try a paint can lid reso.
  • good idea, on my last build i put a ceder acsess plate so i could fix any problems in the future

  • I guess you're refering to the CBG with the paint can lid for an access cavity cover. I doubt it will have much effect on the tone. Doesn't look bad either. Do you have one on front? (another idea I can steal) ;-)

  • Was not aware of that, I reckon I re-invented the wheel so to speak. Does anyone know if this will give it a reso sound? That wasn't my intention, but it may be a blessing in disguise that the bridge wasn't working.
  •    There were actually a number of National model resonators back in the

day that had actual reso covers on the back as well as the front...

  • Oooops. I put the reso lid on the wrong side, didn't I? Hehehe, no, actually when I built this git, I glued it all shut prior to learning that only the treble side of the dual piezo bridge was working. This was the quickest, cleanest way I could think of to get back inside to repair it. It is still a work in progress, I am interested to see how it effects the tone.
  • OK, I'm trying to understand what you're doing here, and I have to admit to being lost?  Share your genius.  :)
