I guess you're refering to the CBG with the paint can lid for an access cavity cover. I doubt it will have much effect on the tone. Doesn't look bad either. Do you have one on front? (another idea I can steal) ;-)
Was not aware of that, I reckon I re-invented the wheel so to speak. Does anyone know if this will give it a reso sound? That wasn't my intention, but it may be a blessing in disguise that the bridge wasn't working.
Oooops. I put the reso lid on the wrong side, didn't I? Hehehe, no, actually when I built this git, I glued it all shut prior to learning that only the treble side of the dual piezo bridge was working. This was the quickest, cleanest way I could think of to get back inside to repair it. It is still a work in progress, I am interested to see how it effects the tone.

There were actually a number of National model resonators back in the
day that had actual reso covers on the back as well as the front...
