Tassie blackwood, the blank was a tiny little plank, had to do 2 scarf joins to make the most of it.

    IMG_1642.jpgthe varegation between the heartwood and the sapwood makes the body end scarf join quite visible from this side..

     

    and same on the other side with the head one..
