Thanks John. Although I'm a big fan of American walnut too. The heels are chunky, but will only stick out about a quarter inch from the box. The upper part after the fretboard will be chiselled away to allow for the box lid/pickup etc.
Ahh, there's the walnut. I hate to admit it, but your English Walnut looks nicer than what we call walnut in the US. Nice heels, but they look a bit heavy.
