JP, I wondered who won the black deuce. I am tempted to make another. It was a 24 inch scale, octave tuned, G&G, using a 5th (A) sting and a 3rd (G) from a 6 sting set.
Thanks Unc. Had to build a two stringer after playiing the one you gave away at KC. I loved the tone of that thing! This one has it's own unique sound. Sounds a lot different than yours. I used a 24 inch scale on mine...I'm betting yours was 26 or 30. Seems like yours was a lot more bass sounding. Can't believe how loud this little thing is.
