Just checked the details before I post them to the world and have discovered that this is not the CHAMP unit that I put together (that is in another box) but it is the KEMO B182 that I put together. Has a great sound for a little unit.
KEMO also have a premade amp (2W?) in a resin block that saves the problem of soldering, you only need to connect the input, battery and speaker.
Stephen, could you please show a close up of your connections (wiring on the board)? I just got this kit in and want to follow what you did there. It looks like your parts are different from mine. Did you change something? Also, did you use a meter to check your voltage, or did you just hook everything up and hope for the best? How does it sound by the way? Thanks.
