I like the sound box with its rounded sides. Very Unique. Is that something you built? Or, was it something else that you adapted to your guitar? What was it?
It appears to be made of slats (strips of wood) glued side-by-side ("butt joined"). To get the four rounded corners on the box using 3 slats per corner means that each side of the slats must have been cut with a 30 degree angle and then the finished box must have had all the 30 degrees joints sanded down to provide the continuously round corners of the box. I'll have to try this some time.

Thanks for the compliments but the box was already made and to be more specific it was a box with bottles of wine.
