My first build. The box is from the Van Slyke & Horton Cigar Factory in Red Lion that closed recently. http://bcove.me/k8afkm5tNeck and fret board are poplar. All stained, dark walnut. It's a 24 ½" scale with 22 frets. The frets are clipped and filed coated nails that look like brass. I used WFret to print out a template to mark the frets on the neck. I cut the fret slots with coping saw and then a miter box and saw. Using 3" C clamps, scrap oak, and a thin metal plate I pressed the frets into the slots. Next time-- a classic fretless build.
