I did one of these but used the back side as the face. Didn't put soundholes in it though i have been tempted. Is your wish based on looks or sound? I have seen them with a ring of almost can opener slots around the pan. Mine is plenty loud without and sounds like a mix of banjo plunk and resonator. Good sound lower down the neck but loses sustain quickly as you move toward the tin. How does yours sound LJ? Nice looking ctb. You have some pretty cool diddly bow designs too.
