1st build

16 gauge finish (gun) nail frets. Glued into v-grooves with 2P-10 glue. I really wanted to do finish nail frets for my first build, but it was extremely tedious, as I used hot melt glue the first time, and after that failed, I had to clean glue boogers out of every v-groove. It took about 4 hours just to clean the glue out. If you are going to attempt finish nails or any wire other than actual fret wire, I'd highly recommend 2P-10 glue. It's very similar to super glue (crazy glue) but more forgiving. The bond is excellent so far. I'm a carpenter and have used this glue for years. It has spray "activator" that will make the bond instant, otherwise, without the activator, you have around 10+ seconds to position whatever you're gluing. Great stuff!
