1954 Nebraska License Plate Guitar

Custom built 1954 Nebraska LPG for David Anthony Foster. 1954 Nebraska Plate, barnwood body, the mallard display back is from an old wooden serving tray, maple neck/heel/fretboard, walnut headstock wings, walnut fret dots, 24" fretted scale, Elmar "Original Flatpup" pickup from Vienna, Austria, old 12 gauge "Peters High Velocity" shotgun shell volume knob, gold 3 string adjustable bridge, gold skull sealed gear tuners, onyx nut, gold strap buttons. Tuned GDG.

    I know what you mean, I like the Mallard scene also :-) I have a few more of the duck serving trays so don't be surprised to see one on the face of a git one of these days ;-)

  • Pretty build Maddog.  Only problem is you can't see both sides at once.  The more I look at it, the more I like it.
