This is an old build. It was a 4 string tuned GDGB - Slowpaw Steve style. It was pretty good, but I just play better with a 3. Man, did it come out good on the rebuild. The 'before' neck was pretty flat. I router rounded it. It Feels great. It had a piezeo which sounded good unless cranked loud. With some advice and help from the Phrygian Kid, (Thanks!) I put a spare and cheap mag pup under the plate. I can not say it sounds better, but it will CRANK up the volume now.I reworked the action and got it good. The old leather strap is from JP Swenson. I 'blacked' it and it looks and feels just right.Could not get a photo worth posting, but the little doo-dad hanging from the peg head is a cool old 'Whitbread Bitters' medallion I got from Jabes. (Thanks). This thing feels and plays great. Sound is kind of reso like and the license plate sometimes makes a rattle or buzz. It sounds great on the right song. - This is why we seem to need half a dozen or so good players for each of us.Oh, bought the old rocker for $20.00. Sits nice. Needs some work.

Hey Cornbred. I didn't know (or forgot) you are from Iowa too. I like your name and photos of your builds. I want to see what you do with the blue plate special.
