A fisherman in 1921 build a 4 string guitar for his son, well.. that's the story for the throwback holiday build-off. 17 inch scale (tenor uke), reclaimed door panels, all binded together with ropes, sides a pieces from a sail, the home tuners are "fado" style, the fretboard ad bridge are made out of timewise accurate ruler, frets are rope too. The case has some secret compartments but is actually a case from the 1920 tees. There's a extended video on Youtube with the whole story and the build.
