1917 Nicaragua Spanish made Cigar Box, neck/heel is made from a southern yellow pine stair tread salvaged out of a house that was built in the late 1800's, antique grain store yardstick fretboard, skeleton key bridge, walnut saddle, 3 string single coil pickup, antique hinge tailpiece, vintage strap buttons, onyx nut, pearloid open gear tuners, 12th fret marker is a brass spike from 1929 used by the railroads to date railroad ties when they were installed, rusty barn nail fret dots, 21 3/4" unfretted scale, tuned GDG.

Thanks Dave! Something about this 130-40 year old wood that you can't get from todays stock.
If you look between the top-middle string there's a nail hole in the headstock from one of the nails that held the stair tread in place for all those years. Couldn't get myself to fill it as I thought it deserved to stay. :-)

Looks like Corian but has no grain pattern to it like some Corian has. It's a little easier to work with also.
Ah, this is a good closeup of the onyx nut. It does look similar to Corian.
