  Just clamped it in a vise and cut it with a hack saw. Ground it even with my disc sander and a pair of pliers of course for the heat. Took about 2 minutes.

  cool I did that with mine, I had a hell of a time cutting them down with a dremel, howd you do it

  Thanks. We found a bunch of casings while out exploring and thought it might be cool. I have a whole box of .223 bullets but can't find anyone with a rifle to fire them for me. I want to do a whole fret board with the empties but would feel better if they were not live!
