La Florena All Havana 3 strings. Will be replacing the bolt bridge to a rusted one and steel wool the tuners. Sounds good. I call it an arch top. Because the block I put in the back where the bridge is. The lid was caving in. Might put a few small sound holes to project the sound better. Going for a relic look to this as well.

    A lot of folks skip sound holes on some builds. I do too.  I have a decibel meter.  I was experimenting with it with the sound holes open and covered.  Minimal difference according to the meter.

    In that region, Scott.  I think the player enjoys the sound the most if they are there.

    Oh, that box sure looks nice as it is.  Player side sound holes work nicely.

    Looking vintage good.  I sometimes paint the new bolts black and add some barn red for a rustified look.
