@Uncle John.... yes, same here. These boxes were a great find @$5 each! The local smoke shop said they sell their boxes, and when I asked "how much, $4-5 each?" she laughed and said "yeah, try $8-10 each"... to which I also laughed and told her she was out of her f***ing mind cause I can get an 80 year old antique (real wood) box for half that!" Needless to say I haven't bought any boxes from her! The vintage boxes are just so much cooler, even if they're in bad shape paper-wise.

I love vintage boxes. I recently decided that other than a rare commission build, I want to do old boxes only.
Nothing like an 80 year new build!
