Really nice, Uncle! I love oil finishes! After trying different things I finally decided to finish mine with Old English Lemon oil. Don't know if it's the best thing to use, but it does an even job on soft woods and I love the smell of lemons. Thinking of using beeswax when I'm done
Nice natural looking finish. I have been using a beeswax boot waterproofer on some of mine and it works the same way. Let it soak in and buff it with a towel. Probably would be like using the old canned style Crisco.

Thanks, Monterey. I build em and sell em or give em away. I wish I remember where this one went.
I knew that I was doing something wrong.
Duck, you have to gargle with it.
I tried oiling my tongue once. Tasted terrible and it still squeaks.
I use tung oil when I have it.
I use boiled linseed oil just cause I found an old can in the cellar.
thanks, Duck.

Yeah, but everything tastes better with Crisco.
