Yes sir .,.,those are the 2 most common fingerings / chord shapes I use for most stuff, though some times you just need that minor chord voicing,.,.,those are the same chord shapes I use to play "Godzilla" and most anything else in GDG., or " root-fifth-octave" tuning.,.,.
Cool, Mike and doable. Play in any key with a GDG guitar. Some folks want to do about everything on one guitar and tuning.
I am a lazy guy and a guy who likes to build. I figure its easier for me to have two guitars with two base tuning. the DAD tuned gits can also be tuned CGC and EBE --- and the GDGs can be FBbF or AEA. So I just have those two setups and change the tuning. I also like to change GDG to ADF# for and alternate open D.
