Between the table surface being uneven, and the guitar trying to sit on two round head screws -- you get the tilt look.

    The tail piece I got from Amazon.  I couldn't find any locally.  Since I'm not using a through neck, I put a bolt through and ground it on the inside of the box.  I also use the same bolt for the strap button.   Here is the hinges on Amazon:  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HS5WRG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_...

    I set the action a little higher on the strings than what I normally do, so it is kind of in the area of being able to use a slide and using your fingers without going way out of tune.
