Good deal. Nice design. I like the yard stick fret board too and I have done a few and also ended up with a small (a dozen) or two yard stick collection. Most of them are old timers and I think I will not use them for fret boards.
Not at all....deep grooves cut into the steel rod string nut prevents "sting hop". :-) Only the top string is really bent at any type of angle and it's groove in the string nut secures it nicely. ;-)

Nice look to it. I like that headstock, but it looks like it will take luck to not require some string guides.
