  Oh, I see. It's a whole Christmas songbook. What a nice X-mas gift. And it's usable not only by canjo players, but with stick dulcimer and mountain dulcimer players as well (in fact any 1-5-8 (aka 1-5-1) tuned instrument). I can't wait for your next songbook...

  Groucho, I'm currently working on another songbook, "It's a One String Thing". It will have a selection of traditional folk music, bluegrass, and contemporary songs and ballads from the 1950's thru the 1990's. Simple one string melodies.

  Thanks for posting these tabs as well as this explanation.  These are a lot more simplified than many other tabs I've found.  I've got a canjo and a 3 string guitar that I don't know how to play at all.  These are going to help me out a lot.  Do you have any non-Christmas song tabs as well?
