  these are the pots I use mate:

  220k rather than the 250 you always see on specs.Also the 470k instead of 500k.

  You can get log or linear,or better stll a few of each.

  With these pots, knobs are push on so all you have to do is cut off the excess plastic,I use a junior hacksaw and then you can even use the scrap to make a cheap bridge!
