After restoring a banjo, violin and guitar I wanted to create something of my own without power tool insanity. The simplicity and cheapness tugged at my heart. I'm making a scarfed cherry-necked 3 string right now.

Gran Habano Lm386 9V 4 inch speaker $14 in parts. Sounds great on mag pups but harsh on piezo. I'll make another to address that with a 6 inch cone and a cap and/or pottage.
