Hey Austin I saw your question on the chat page about piezos. A good idea is to sandwich the piezo between thin cardboard or even leather. This helps to cut down on feedback caused by the amp. Also it dampens the some of the noise from just touching the box. Another idea is to mount it onto the neck (inside the box) instead of directly to the box itself. This also cuts down on the ambient noise from touching the box. As far as Velcro goes, Inever tried it. Give it a go and see what happens, there are no mistakes in CBG building.
