I would just like to thank Chickenbone John for a great workshop today in Cardiff (his first and hopefully not his last in Wales).

I have been waiting for quite some time for a workshop to give me the confidence to get on building and playing cbgs and John certainly delivered a great workshop and answered all my stupid questions and then some.

Now I can truly upset my neighbours. :)

    Thanks guys....I've been meaning to do some more players' workshops, I'll see if I can set up a couple of venues and get cracking with it. Unfortunately I'm really busy in my workshop trying to catch up with my huge backlog of custom orders, and family matters have also been pre-occupying me somewhat recently, as my dad has been quite ill for some time now.

    Any road, the good news is that I've just taken on a part time sales manager and assistant, so hopefully I'll now have bit more to do the things I do best.

    I attended the workshop in Winster Derbyshire on Saturday 12th April, it was also a very good workshop, would also be interested in a beginners how to play session.
