Hi.
I'm putting this here on the UK group as it is something that UK builders will be best placed to answer. I am in search of something with which to pad out my newly acquired CBG case (which it's previous owner thought, mistakenly, was a gun case).
The case measures approximately 950mmx280mmx100mm on the inside and I got if for 99p on eBay. The problem is that the foam that came with it was not in good condition. I have looked around for foam and it looks very expensive. I am wondering about expanded polystyrene, which is certainly cheaper.
What I am hoping for is a low cost solution to keeping one (or even two) guitars safe and undamaged inside it. It doesn't need to look fancy as the case doesn't anyway. All suggestions very much appreciated.
All the best.
John
P.S. I am putting a link to this discussion in the London and nearby group, as people may have local suggestions. If you aren't already a member why not consider joining.

Hi Steve.
Acoustic foam looks good. That could well be the solution.
Many thanks.
