  • Regarding recording, I found that my phone has a recording facility so I use it just like that. If I play a tune and think that I'd like ot remember it I quickly record it on there. Sound quality isn't excellent, but it's easily good enough to remind me what I've played.

  • Just found out about this little beauty and gonna get me one tomorrow. It's just what I've been wanting for ages but didn't know about. It's a small digital recorder that you plug your guitar into. It's ready to record as soon as it hears a signal. So if you're practising and find that cool lick or riff, you can replay it, save it and download to computer to use in your recording software or whatever. I'm constantly having to re-invent the wheel with my playing cos I forget what I played the night before - this'll be great. There's two versions - one with mic and headphone socket and one without.
