frets??

what different on how many frets there are on a cbg's.the one I've just got has 20,

chicken johnny has 16, 20,21,22

some have only 12, 9.

one fretted cbg is enough for me .

the ones that I hope to make will not have frets but markers only.

    John on a scale length of 25.5" the number of frets will depend on the size of the box or where the bridge is placed, bridge away from the end of the box near the centre = more frets, bridge near the end of the box = less frets, or large box = less frets and small box = more frets. :-)
