I'm speaking to local firms in Birmingham (badge making is a really traditional Brum trade, part of the Jewellery Quarter industries), so I'm looking to support local business by putting a bit of work their way..and getting a pukka quality product to boot.
The cost depends on the size of the batch, and I'll have to pay a one-off tooling fee, so the more I get made, the better price. Probably likely to be around a fiver a shot, fairly pricey I know, but you are looking at a short-run, 25mm diam. two colour British-made enamel badge.
Here's a first draft design..any comments..please let me know. If it looks like a goer I'll stick my neck out and get a batch made up. I'll need to speak to the manufacturers to see what the restrictions the tooling place on the design, so this may well get altered quite a bit simply in order to keep it practical.

If I am still in the UK by the time they are done put me down for one,
I would suggest you ask for cash up front as Sherb was let down by a few people after all his effort of sorting out the T-shirts.
I bet your Mac would look great with an aluminium neck!;)
Definitely interested in the badge.
