Buying Parts in UK

I'm looking for a amp kit to make a cigarbox guitar amp but all i'm finding is stuff from the US , can't be waiting a month and paying vat and all that postage , any one know of a UK supplier of thses amp kits .

       I got in touch with Lee at Pedalparts , and he pre-assembled the kit for me for a small fee , just waiting for the cigarbox to arrive from Ebay and a Switchcraft 12a jack socket so there's the option to use external speaker , i'm going to use 3.5in 16ohm internal speaker , i'll post pics when finished .

    When this problem is sorted out can anyone tell me where to get Fret-boards.

    I can do most things but sawing a 1/4 inch slice of a lump of hardwood is beyond me.

      i usually find some good deals on ebay for pre-cut fretboard wood as it needs to be perfectly flat - i could never achieve that level of perfection in my workshop! i buy pre-cut oak necks from a local hardwood supplier for the same reason (-:

      Try Chickenbone John he's a lot cheaper but you have to cut your own slots
