On the Saturday of the August Bank Holiday (August 24th) our local cricket club is holding a mini beer fest, marquee, burgers, beer etc. If anyone fancies playing in the marquee (beer tent!) during the afternoon and moving into the pavilion for an evening session (some other band with 'bought' guits will be 'on' outside) I'd love to hear from you.
Hope there's no other event going on close by, let me know if it will tread on any toes!
Could arrange camping/floor space etc, but if Seasick Steve could make it, he'd get my room!
I'm really not into what PA system would be needed or even how to organise this sort of thing but I'm sure there is some good advice out there. You know who you are!
Cheer folks,
Bri

Yeah Grant! It seems you did miss a good un, but looking through my alcoholic blur I'm going to have to rely on the vid which is downloading at the moment before I come to a conclusion. A definite maybe for next year though.

Hi Grant, Like Steve said, cbgs from 2.00 but the beer flows from 12.00 with the hog roast kicking in from 5.30 – 6.00ish. BBQ in the afternoon. Just back from sound checks/beer checks etc, it's all good! Hope to see you there. Cheers, Brian
