kids workshop today. 15 kids built 2 and 3 string cbg's. thanks to all the nation members who danated materials. dang school would not let me take kids pics. hopefully the parents will forward me pics to post here. also got some local radio interview time today. pushed the nation and cbg's for soldiers.

already had 1 stop by and playd me a couple songs he figured out. he saw all the cbg stuff uin my workshop---might have a cbgmbuddy if his paremts will let him. they're all coming over this weekend to check itr out. Tim Gale said:

boxes awere cut frets marked and holes drilled for tuners. theyndrilled holes for strings and put it all together. went real smooth

I've got boxes and 1x2s. Purchased tuning heads and strings, etc.
Did you let the kids handle tools, saws etc.?
I'm considering pre-cutting the necks, drilling holes for the heads and letting them decorate and glue the boxes.
Any suggestions?
