it appears that Wayfinder has deleted his account.
he doesnt show in the members section and EVERY post and thread he started seems to be missing.
ALL OF THE INDUCTION pickup thread is gone, not just his postsbut all post in any thread he started.
so this begs the question what happened?

sorry I'm late to the party...
Ben I'm 100% behind and supportive of your decision. Though I didn't see the post in question, I have full faith that the appropriate forum moderator action was taken and justified. We are a diverse and inclusive phyllium and the social lubrication of politeness, consideration and civility are essential to a beneficial community here.
and I still have all my notes and diagrams from the induction pickup designs (yay!)
I for one will miss the ornerey old coot.
He may not always have been on topic but he generally gave me a chuckle.
I hope he finds what he is looking for.
fair but accurate..ha ha
me too. didnt always see eye to eye but agreed to disagree.
This bums me out. It's one thing to loose a member. It's quite another to loose content that many of us have spent time on. Again. I'm at a loose as to what to say about this. I can understand the option of being able to delete one's own contributions to a forum. Just wish there was a way to save everyone else's. Even if the discussion is hard to follow at times. It would still be there. And if necessary others could fill in the holes as needed.
I hear you man... it is a serious shortcoming of the Ning platform. Same thing on Facebook though... if one person starts a thread in a group or on a page, and other people join in and comment and contribute... if the original author deletes the post, everything is gone.

It's fine with me.
I just want to say thank you for watching over us Ben ..,and this is an awesome site..,makes us feel like we are one big family..,,.,."we are all in this together".,.,
You are right Jerry, we really are all in it together. Thank you for the nice note.
Even though I have zero interest in induction pickups or negativity of any kind it bothers me that some folks find things to quibble about on a site like this. I missed the post that prompted this but I support your decision Ben, and I know the person in question has been the focus of problems in the past even though he's always been a friend to me. Still, keeping things positive and helpful is extremely important when it comes to welcoming new folks eager to learn. Let's keep things going in a direction that welcomes and encourages rather than argues and disparages. My tongue in cheek assessment is that pickups and amps lead to argument and acoustic instruments lead to harmony!
