Hey guys - This may not be the proper place for this but....

On the CB Gitty store and on ebay I'm having trouble getting from page to page. On gitty's store I keep getting kicked back to the sign in page before I can move on. On ebay store when I click on things, the little blue green circle thingy just sits and spins then jumps to "This page cannot be displayed"
I have windows 7 and using explorer10, I have cookies enabled (I hope)

Any computer savvy builders out there that can offer any help??? I'm stuck!!

  • Seriously, IE is the web programmers most hated browser. Microsoft has done a lot of proprietary things over ,the years. While IE had the overwhelming market share, programmers worked with it, praying for the day they could ditch it. Between other browsers coming up and now NSA security concerns, some developers are not adapting to IE's idiosyncracies any more. Some are saying we straight out won't support it.
  • Download Google Chrome and use that as ur Browser. I have fewer hassles than with IE

  • JB does this happen all the time?  is it only on ebay and Gitty's web site? you could try deleting them from your favourites menu and go to the web sites afresh, creating a new path.. if you're running windows 7 you must have a fairly recent machine..

otherwise how long since you had a "cleanup" or formatted your hard drive..? your system could be cluttered up with cookies and bugs.

if all else fails contact your ISP (internet service provider)  , hope you get it sorted soon!  (-:

    • Thanx guys (well, some of you, wink, wink, nudge, nudge) I NEED EMOTICONS!!!
It seems the worst with gitty, everytime I do something it jumps back to the sign in page, which I do, then continue on, but I'm getting sick of typing my password. ebay seems to be OK now.
OK Now I understand # - glad I'm not a twit - Get it?? That's funny stuff, I tell ya!!!

I'll have to check out Firefox.

  • Linux. Because life is too short for reboots.

  • Computer savvy people probly wont have much to offer, they rarely use windows and they never use internet explorer :)
    • Well this could spell trouble....I was going to order your Xmas present online!!!!   :-)
I'm also on a mission to figure out what the heck "Hash Tag" this and "Hash Tag" that is all about... I think I'm getting left behind....

  • You can try clearing your cache and see if that helps.
